Description
Description

Marina Abramović is a world- famous Serbian-born artist. She became known for her conceptually driven performances in the late 1970s alongside her artist partner Ulay. They made several iconic works together including Breathing In/Breathing Out and Rest Energy. When the pair ended both their personal and artistic relationship, they walked the length of The Great Wall of China, starting at either end, meeting in the middle, and passing each other to continue walking alone. Marina Abramović was the subject of the award-winning 2012 documentary, The Artist Is Present, which documented her 2010 exhibition at MoMa in New York.
