The Glo-Ball Floor Lamps are designed with rounded bases and a long tube leading up to a spherical lit glass shade that “glows.” Designed by Jasper Morrison in 1998, the three floor lamps quickly gained popularity. The lamp is created out of a die-cast threaded ring nut with an alodine plated finish, a steel base, and an externally acid-etched and hand blown opaline glass diffuser. The Glo-Ball F1, F2 and F3 lamps vary only in size, with the F3 being the largest lamp and the F1 being the smallest. Many other variants of the lamp include wall pendants and table lamps.
The Glo-Ball comes in three sizes ranging from heights of 53.25” to 73.0" (135 to 185 cm).
