Kyle Yates is a former American tennis player introduced to pickleball by his uncle. He quickly adapted to the sport winning gold in his first USA Pickleball Association (USAPA) National tournament in 2014. After going professional and playing full time, he won a Grand Slam in 2016 of men’s double (the US Open, Tournament of Champions, and the USAPA Nationals). Kyle was later ranked world number one in men’s doubles in 2018 by World Pickleball Federation (WPF), and later won ten gold medals in mixed doubles, two in singles events, and one bronze in mixed doubles besides others, like US Open pro doubles titles and two TOC pro doubles titles.
