Michael Powell is a retired American professional lacrosse player who converted to become a musician and visual artist. In 2002 and 2006, he was with the United States team in the World Lacrosse Championship, where he was commended as the All-World Team. Powell has played professionally for Boston Cannons, Baltimore Bayhawks, and Syracuse University, where he was First Team All-American on four occasions besides carrying the school's record for the most career points and seeing the school to two national championships. Powell has received the Tewaaraton Trophy twice and the Jack Turnbull Awards four times as the top attacker in Division I.
