Richie McCaw is a former New Zealand professional rugby union player with several tags, awards, and accolades. He was once All Black's captain, two-time Rugby World Cup winner, three-time World Rugby Player of the Year, and a record holder for most-capped rugby player of the year for five straight years (from 2015 to 2020). Richie made twenty-seven tries and preferred the openside flanker position, but would also switch to be a blindside flanker. He won seven Tri-Nations titles, three Grand Slam tours, and eight Bledisloe Cups with the All Blacks. With the Crusaders, he won four Super Rugby titles and five NPC (later Mitre10 Cup) with Canterbury. He has been admitted into the World Rugby Hall of Fame and awarded the Order of New Zealand.
