The arms of the Bigfin Reef Squid taper to a narrow point and are not equal in length. In appearance they are similar to a cuttlefish due to their large fins. The Bigfin Reef Squid is native to the Indo-Pacific Oceans, live in coastal waters, but can also be found in waters deeper than a 100 ft (30.4 m). Bigfin Reef Squids prey on fish and crustaceans. They are not considered in danger of extinction.
