The Ginkgo (Maidenhair) Tree, Ginkgo bilboa, is a deciduous tree with a large angular canopy and long erratic branches as it grows with a pyramidal silhouette. The Ginkgo (Maidenhair) Tree also grows deep roots and has fan-shaped leaves with veins that radiate out.

This species of tree is native to native to China with the first Ginkgo (Maidenhair) Tree first appearing over 290 million years ago. The Ginkgo (Maidenhair) Tree has a long lifespan as it can live up to 3,000 years. Although the Gingko (Maidenhair) Tree has withstood the test of time it currently does not provide much wildlife value.
