She began snowboarding at the age of 8 and her brothers, Abe and Elijah Teter, are also X Games competitors. Hannah Teter is distinguished by her charitable work as well as founding her own organization, Hannah’s Gold. She is also a Global Ambassador for the Special Olympics. Hannah Teter has won 9 Winter X-Games, 1 World Championship, and 2 Olympic medals. In 2002, she became the first female snowboarder to land a 900 in competition.
