Isamu Noguchi was a renowned American sculptor, landscape architect, and furniture designer whose career spanned six decades, starting in the 1920s. Although he isn't alive, most of his designs are still in production and inspiring people around the world. His notable works include the Red Cube in New York, Black Sun in Seattle, Sky Gate in Honolulu, Japanese Garden at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France, and the Herman Miller lounge table. These have earned him the Logan Medal of the arts, Brandeis Creative Arts Award, Order of the Sacred Treasure, and the Edward MacDowell Medal. As a result of these achievements, and to continue his work and legacy, The Isamu Noguchi Foundation and Garden Museum was created to exhibit his works.
