He is married to Spanish actress and all-round goddess, Penelope Cruz, and has appeared alongside her in several productions, including Jamón Jamón (2002), Everybody Knows (2018) and Vicky Christina Barcelona (2008). In 2012 Bardem appeared in the James Bond film, Skyfall, and gave a mesmerizing performance as the conflicted and twisted villain, Silva.
