Lily Potter is the mother of Harry Potter. She was born into a Muggle family, and had one sister, Petunia, who later went on to raise Harry. She was the only witch in the family, a fact that her sister despised. She attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where she met James Potter. She was considered an intelligent, kind and beautiful witch. Harry is often told he has his mothers light, green eyes. She and James were murdered by Voldemort in the town of Godric’s Hollow, whilst they were protecting Harry.
