Rubeus Hagrid is a half-giant wizard who is Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. We first meet him at the beginning of Harry’s story, when he delivers Harry to his Uncle and Aunt’s house the night his parents were killed. Hagrid is very fond of Harry and is very protective of him. Hagrid has an interest in magical creatures and is often found looking after a new, strange animal including Norbert - a baby dragon, Fluffy – a three headed dog, or Buckbeak – a flying hippogriff. He has a younger half-brother, the giant Grawp, who lives in the Forbidden Forest under Hagrid’s care.
