Francesca Piccinini, born January 10, 1979, is an Italian volleyball player. She has represented Italy four times in the Summer Olympics (2000, 2004, 2008, and 2012). Piccinini was a member of the Women’s National Team that won the gold medal at the 2002 World Championship in Germany. While playing professionally with the Italian club Volley Bergamo, she was awarded the “Most Valuable Player” title after the team won the 2009-10 CEV Indesit Champions League Title. She received this title again in 2016 while playing with Pomi Casalmaggiore for the DenizBank Champions League. She currently plays for the Futura Volley Busto Arsizio as a Wing Spiker.
