He started performing on the comedy circuit in Boston, in 1988, and was quickly scouted by a talent agent. His first television role was on the MTV comedy show, Half Hour Comedy Hour. He is known for being the host of the popular game show, Fear Factor, as well as his numerous stand up comedy specials. He worked at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles for thirteen years. He is married to Jessica Ditzel - they have two children together.
