The Stabyhoun is a Dutch national treasure. It is also called the Stabij and is very rare to see. The Stabyhoun is majorly used as a watchdog or to hunt vermin and game. Their quick, sturdy, and versatile nature come from its medium-sized, well-balanced body. It is long rather than tall, agile, and athletic. The dog should be physically well-balanced and not muscular nor slender.
