In 1990, he was a finalist in a national comedy competition, which led to his appearance on It’s Show Time At The Apollo, for several years. Since the year 2000, Steve Harvey has hosted The Steve Harvey Morning Show, a weekly radio program. His has also appeared in several films, hosted a number of shows, and written a book. He has been married three times and has seven children.
