Crane Pose | Crow Pose (Bakasana / Kakasana)
Crow Pose is an intermediate arm balance that helps with stability, balance, strengthen the back and build focus. Also known as Kakasana, Crow Pose tones the abs, stretches the thighs and makes the wrist strong.
One way to do Crow Pose is to begin in a standing position, squat down and bring palms to the ground about shoulder width apart. Spread the fingers and put a slight bend in the elbows. Next, bring both knees to the triceps with the knees bent. Beginners use a block for balance under the forehead.
