Nite Owl II, also known as Daniel Dreiberg is a fictional vigilante in Watchmen and the extended DC Comics universe. Having looked up to the first Nite Owl since early childhood, and having served as something of a sidekick to Nite Owl in his teenage years, Daniel became Nite Owl II after the original Nite Owl’s retirement.
Lacking superpowers, he uses a variety of owl-themed gadgets in his fights. Though he prefers not to begin with hand-to-hand combat, in a pinch he can hold his own. Much like batman, all of his gadgets are named after his signature animal.
Nite Owl, portrayed by Patrick Wilson in Watchmen (2009), has a height of 6’1" (1.85 m).
